Unfortunately, we cannot give you an immediate answer, but you should get in touch with us within 10 days...". was for a credit request. Today I had hoped to apply for 2 to give both companies enough to get to know each other, but this kind of blow hurts my chance of doing so.
Well, I think it will depend on your credit rating. When there is something on it that the computer can't deal with or that doesn't match what you have written on your claim forms, it is left to a person to make the choice. I have a link in my case that always baffles them, so I never get instant choices and sometimes they call me to ask.
Odds are, if you don't get an immediate response from one business, you probably won't get one from the other. I had this issue last night when I was amax, I always thought they gave you an instant call? Oh, well! Occasionally the immediate choice you get is the effect that they are not able to give you a favorable immediate choice, but they do not say that you will not be able to have a ticket in due time.
Rejecting your friendly proposal of an installment protection insurance can make things a little slower.... I' ve had an instant "no" before. An IF credit line was recently requested. Thats got an instant yes and explained my credit line too. Good that you like it! Murmuring credit from wanadoo also gives an instant yes.

Though I am a low-income college graduate, I also have a fairly small and uncomplicated credit record, so the requests probably required no manual interventions. Applying for a credit for my woman (her first new credit since canceling her old one 8 month ago) at Lloyds TSB yesterdays, applying for a credit within 30 minutes.....without paying security, also applying for a 10k credit at the same date.
Loan contract will be sent out shortly, so can I be sure that credit transfer has been approved? Recently I requested three tickets on-line (BA Amex, Barclaycard Platinum and Lloyds TSB) and none of them gave me an immediate one. I have also asked myself whether or not I should complete the transfer applications form during the transfer phase, or whether I should arrange for it later.
At the end I emptied this part of the form and made the money transfer by telephone when I enabled the card. However, would my (quite low) credit limit have been higher if I had applied for large wire transfer?
