The best new credit cardsASHINGTON - U.S. News & World Report, the world' s premier ranking and consulting firm, today announces enhancements to its Best Travelling Rewards Credit Cards of 2018. In order to help customers use, conserve and administer their funds in a responsible manner, U.S. News rates credit cards in 21 different areas, among them Best Airlines Rewards Credit Cards and Best Hotel Rewards Credit Cards.
"For frequent travelers, a credit award can help you accumulate mileage or points that you can spend on free tickets," says Beverly Harzog, Consumer Finance Analyst and Credit Cards Expert at U.S. News. "With the right credit cards, you can not only conserve cash, but also have a more enjoyable itinerary.
Several of the best reward credit cards provide easy entry to airports lounge, prioritized boards, on-board credit and more." U.S. News added 12 new cards to its 2018 Best Travel Awards credit cards, among them the Uber Visa, a new credit line with a highly competetive merit level - 4 per cent cashback on meals, 3 per cent cashback on hotels and airfares, 2 per cent cashback on shopping on-line and 1 per cent cashback on all other non annuity shopping.
U.S. News also identifies cards for corporate travellers, among them the American Express OPEN BP Platinum Cards, American Express Capital One Spark Miles for Business and American Express Starwood Preferred Guest Business Credit Cards. "Select the most suitable reward for your organization and reduce your expense," says Harzog.
"When you have staff traveling, these credit cards make it simple to keep tabs on spending, which makes living at home much easier." Among the upgrades to BestTravel Rewards credit cards from 2018 are also included: U.S. News has added seven new cards to its Best Line Awards Credit Cards for those customers who are specifically interested in reward cards from carriers.
U.S. News has added three new cards for Best Hotels Rewards credit cards:
