Experian is used by Experian in the UK to verify the creditworthiness of clients.
Over the three month to 31 December Experian said that 3.3 million had registered with its free credit check services in the UK and Ireland, just over 300,000 more than on 30 September. During the previous season, between June and September, almost 800,000 persons participated in the databank. Previously, Experian had found that "an increase in enrollment had taken place immediately after the Equifax Violation " in the US, with today's numbers showing that a similar increase had taken place in the UK in the previous year.
While Experian did not seem to benefit from a pushed back against Equifax in the three month to December 31 trial periods, the company recorded 5% annual sales organically.
