*HSBC - Pay your credit card bill via online bank transfer
Anyone know how many working hours it will take for an HSBC credit card bill to be paid from an HSBC checking bank using online bankings? Understanding that the bank and credit card areas are separate, I did not expect an immediate bank wire.
There' currently no thanks for this contribution. It will take a while for the CC accounts to appear, but it will actually be used on the next business trip as far as I know. A few strokes of luck, adjustment of the pyramid and auto sales... zero debts!
Isn' that on the back of your credit card bill? I would have also been expecting the next working workday - National Flex to CC works like this, and HSBC inter-account wire transfer is usually "instantaneous" (I have a few HSBC bank balances, but not their CC). â Does anyone know how many business hours it will take for an HSBC credit card bill to be paid from an HSBC checking bankroll ( via online billing ) to the credit card balance? â says:
â You can now pay your HSBC or first credit card bill directly by using your credit card at any HSBC ATM. Your bank transfer will be immediately deducted from your bankroll. Up to three business working days may pass before it is available in your bankroll, but it will be credited immediately for interest rate use.
Guess it's the same for interest reasons to do online, though the balance can be updated faster.... â Invoice transactions made from your banking accout will be credited to your card within three business workingdays. Due to interest technical reasons, the date of receipt of the invoice will be taken as the date of receipt of the invoice.
But I know that back dated cares about the interest, but does it also car about a possible fine? Would it be more secure to pay the invoice 3 working days before the due date, or would it be entirely OK to do so on the due date (provided the due date is a working day)?
â I certify that the invoice amount for the current amount will be paid from your current banking address on the due date, no penalty charge will be levied. Please make sure, however, that your money is paid before 8 am. 00 a.m. (UK time) on the due date of inpayment. However, if payments are made thereafter, the transactions will not be completed until the next business working days and payments will be deemed delayed by one workday.

It' s retroactive for both interest and billing use, so long as you have made the due date payout there should be no delay charge (although I think the cutoff period is 8pm). Well, that's fine, I never noticed that was the case, and assuming the crucial date was when the funds actually got to the credit card number.
