Administer your loan

As soon as you have approved your credit contract on-line, RateSetter sets up the acceptance giro for your montly refunds. The advantage of taking out a P2P loan from RateSetter is that you are in full command at all time. You will have on-line acess to all your credit data so that you can simply administer your loan and your refunds and always know where you are.

When you have arrived, click on "My Credits" to open your credit Dashboard. You can do that from your credit dashboard: Your loan can be cancelled within 14 working days of acceptance of your loan contract on-line. You would then have to pay back the full amount of the loan within 30 workingdays, so that you get back the borrowers' commission.

All interest due for the prepayment of the full amount of the loan shall be non-refundable. If I miss a loan redemption, what happens? It is always recommended that you contact RateSetter as soon as possible if you think you will be struggling with one of your months' refunds.

At the end of the month, if you miss a one-month installment, RateSetter will try to recover the amount from your current accounts, usually about a fortnight later. They will contact you by phone or e-mail to request your money if this does not work. When RateSetter can't reach you and you still can't reach to make the refund, then they will work with their collections agent to find out the refund.

Ratingsetters act on their own name, so they take the reclaiming of their funds seriously. When RateSetter still does not get your deposit, there is a possibility that you will go to the so-called "Standard". In order to ensure that you know this will be done, they will give you at least 28 days advance notification before your loan default.

Standardization essentially means that you have formally neglected to maintain a loan payback, and it is a poor thing for your loan history - it will most likely cause you trouble with taking out a loan in the near term.
