However, on my last credit reference it was said that it could be better if I had been saving Money. You will find this thread useful that I think; I must however point out that having some checking accounts, especially dormant ones or those with an existing overdraft, might influence your creditworthiness. Has it been determined whether the funds must be invested in a traditional saving or not?

Otherwise, I cannot see why monies in pans would not equal counting as monies that have just been sitting on the home bankroll. Your creditworthiness or "score" is evaluated differently by different creditors. All I have is a traditional checking account. I don't have any credit card. Mine creditworthiness is good, as from my last NODLE credit review and it only said to have some cash on my bankroll e.g. saving.

Now I have ajob that I can put to one side to save, as I want the best possible number of points when I finally have to take out loans for a mortgages, etc. I have no debt or backlogs, but as a college kid I lived from month to month to ( maybe a contributing factor to ). If you are looking to establish a good credit rating (you don't really have to be too worried about too much unless you are about to take out a credit or mortgage), the best way to do this is to take out a credit or debit card, issue it (e.g. for vacation expenses, frequent purchases) and immediately make payment.

I wouldn't care for your first credit as you won't use it for the upside. When you buy your food once a months, you immediately buy it online when you get home (and have a credit note established just in case you forget), it doesn't really care what the interest fee is, because you never have to do it.

Rather, if you look somewhere like topcashback.co.uk 15 (there are recommendation link in the recommendation wiki: Post/Find Here 4), you can find a simple solution that will pay you 20-30 for getting it, use it for a year to make story, then abort and get a better one if you ever need an real credit.
