Oklahoma University Vice President and Director of Athletics Joe Castiglione and Head Oklahoma Coach Lou Rosselli today announce the OU 2017-18 Wednesday OU wrestle timetable. The OU will have its first duel of the year on December 17th against Appalachian State in Norman, the team's last competition before the start of the game.
Sooners' home plan offers four extra duels, three of which are successive Big 12 matches with Northern Colorado (January 21, Lloyd Noble Center), Iowa State (January 26) and South Dakota State (January 28). On February 10, OU unwinds its home shale with a Seniors Nights dual against Edinboro at the Lloyd Noble Center.
Utah Valley (February 2), Wyoming (February 4) and Oklahoma State (February 11). The other street battles are Pittsburgh (7 January), the Virginia Duals (12 to 13 January) and Lehigh (16 February). The Big 12 Championship will take place from 3 to 4 March at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Okla, after a periodical seasonal promotion.
The latest expansion to include Fresno State and Northern Iowa affiliates will see the 2018 International Convention Championships take place with 12 delegates. Sooners will then travel to Cleveland, Ohio for the 2018 NCAA Wrestling Championships, which will be staged at the Quicken Loans Arena from March 15 to 17.
